Use Your Voice to Lift Others Up + Connect with Our Black Owned Businesses, Organizations + Leaders

The past 3 months have drastically shifted our communities. We are unearthing the realities of deeply established systems that have not been supporting everyone, and are coming up against the sharp changes that meet us in a modern world that is diminishing the distance between nature and people. While so much pain has been caused between economic downfalls and pervasive social injustice, we feel optimistic. We have seen people rally to action and achieve small wins that have brought our community the hope needed to persevere.

We believe all business should put responsibility front and center, and have been scrutinizing how we can learn from those who have held us to a high standard and pushed us to actively do better. While we have spent a majority of our time discussing the importance of environmental change, this conversation cannot be had without bringing  social justice and the history of injustice toward our black and brown neighbors into the conversation. While we work towards deep adjustments that genuinely honor the individuals and communities, we are working hard to integrate meaningful dialogue that will further foster and establish deeply-rooted change.

Below we are highlighting our members who have worked so hard to support underserved communities for years, and those used their time and talent to support and lift up these members. Many of you have reached out, wanting to get more involved, so for those who are not able to provide fiscal or volunteer support, we encourage you to click on the link at the bottom of the page to draft a poignant email to your local congressperson,  and to check out our growing list of resources on having conversations, to unlearning traditionally taught history.
