Jeff hasn’t followed any normal path, much to his delight. And he encourages others to do the same (or not, which is the whole point.) He’s spent a couple of decades listening, learning, designing, and directing the creation of experiences.
Recent work is focused on design and strategy for social impact and sustainability, helping inch positive movements forward to solve challenges for the real world. That’s happening through organizations like Vulcan Productions, The United Nations, Discovery Channel, XPRIZE, The UnSchool, eecosphere, and others.
Jeff is based in Dallas, and is directing experience strategy and product at eecosphere, and consulting or creating with Disrupt Design NY and other great changemakers. He was previously VP of Experience Strategy at Human Design in Boulder, was a partner in a UX/Software consultancy for about a decade, and he’s worked in a couple of startups, a few awesome digital agencies, and a large national software consultancy. He’s mentored with organizations like Unreasonable Labs NTX, AIGA and SXSW, and volunteers with groups likeDallas Startupweek and Art Conspiracy.
He spends time side learning (and doing) the story-focused crafts of filmmaking and photography (with a growing cast of rebellious collaborators,) and making sure that people like Brent know that they are all good dogs.
