Last week, Co-Founder Amy King sat on the Dallas Regional Chamber’s Southern Dallas Task Force & Innovation Meeting.

“The question, ‘If capitalism could be reconfigured to allow neighbors to become owners of their own unique businesses, what would it look like?’ was the topic that was being answered in Southern Dallas, where six co-working/entrepreneur centers are in varying stages of development.” according to Dallas Innovates.

In a stand-alone-district that’s known mostly for its produce, King says she is looking at the double meaning of the word “produce.” The coworking space is the social engine for the 1808 complex, a live-work space on South Good Latimer. Looking to get away from the idea that i-30 has cut the city in half, Amy is hoping that GoodWork will be help produce great ideas from local leaders and entrepreneurs.
